What's it all about?
It’s about putting on a show!
Over the course of two weeks, campers will rehearse Disney’s Peter Pan Jr.
On the last day of camp, they’ll show off their hard work onstage at the Kennedy Theatre.
While we’ll have auditions for various speaking parts, everybody will get to be onstage!
In addition to daily rehearsals (which will involve singing, acting, and dancing), camp will include the following:
- Dance classes with Victoria Moore
(last seen onstage at TR in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Wolf)
- Sessions in a variety of topics, such as: improvisation, acting, and audition prep
- Crafts! Campers will create fun costume and prop pieces to use in the show!
Once we move to the Kennedy, campers will get a behind-the-scenes look at the
theatre space where they will be performing.
During that week, they’ll learn more about the technical elements of
stage productions as we incorporate lights, sound, and a set!
All experience levels are welcome!

Who can attend?
Camp is for students ages 7-15. Campers will be grouped according to age.

Camp runs Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm
Where is it located?
Week one: Theatre Raleigh Studios
(near Triangle Town Center)
Week two: Kennedy Theatre
(at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Raleigh)
My child has no theatre experience. Can s/he still attend?
Absolutely! All we ask is that campers come ready to work hard and have fun!
Will my child get to perform for an audience?
Yes! On the last day camp everyone will perform onstage (twice!) at the Kennedy Theatre.

How do I register?
Fill out a registration form and return it to us by mail (2 E. South St. Raleigh, NC 27601) or email (education@theatreraleigh.com)
Include a check with your $50 deposit, or click the link below to process your payment online.
You will receive an email confirmation once we have received both your registration form and deposit. Once your spot has been secured, we will send out additional information covering all the details and camp logistics.
