Raleigh native, Blaire Thompson is the Owner/Creative Director for Raleigh ACT as well as a musical theatre performer. 

 

Raleigh ACT was born 12 years ago out of Blaire’s passion for teaching and love of theatre.  She has had the privilege to work with many students and their families as they explore the art of theatre.   Raleigh ACT started with 2 classes and now has more than 25 classes and 15 summer camps! 

 

Not only does Blaire enjoy working with the fantastic students and teachers of Raleigh ACT, but she  also gets to perform with local theaters such as Theatre Raleigh, North Carolina Theatre, Temple Theatre, Theatre in the Park, and Raleigh Little Theatre.  As an educator, Blaire continues to feed her passion for learning by taking private acting and voice lessons with Lisa Jolley, as well as participating in Directing workshops and vocal pedagogy classes.  She’s also an instructor of Danz Insanity – a dance fitness class.
