Raleigh Fringe Festival is an alternative performing arts festival for everything weird and wonderful. 

The Raleigh Fringe Festival marks its debut with an exhilarating array of performances that promise to captivate and inspire audiences. This year’s lineup celebrates creativity and diversity, showcasing a wide range of theatrical expressions and thought-provoking narratives.

 A comedy show in the style of 16th Century Italian Commedia dell’ Art.

Taali se Taal tak: clap narrates

Taali’ means a simple clap which is widely called as applause all around the world. It is recognized as one of the common means around the world and universal means of communication. Concept & Direction by Seema Viswanath.

The Eschatology of Terence McKenna

An extemporaneous monologue that blends personal narratives with the life and philosophies of psychedelic icon Terence McKenna. Created and Performed by Jonathan Fitts.

7 Tales from 7 Voices: A Cary Playwrights’ Forum Retrospective 

A reflection upon the last 7 years of The Cary Playwrights’ Forum, revisiting fan favorites from NC 10×10, our Radio Play Contest, PlaySlam!, and It’s Been One Week monologue competition.

Brothers In Arms

Tells the story of Evelyn “Eli” Thompson and Sarah “Sam” Whitaker, who disguised themselves as men to serve as soldiers in the Civil War. 

Hearts & Minds: A Guide to Relationships 

An original Comedy that provides the do’s and don’ts of romance.

Don Giovanni (Abridged!) 

A new adult comedy adaptation of Mozart’s classic opera “Don Giovanni”. Performed by Alissa Roca, Soprano; Gwen Hyland, Baritone; Suzanne James, Piano

The festival also features acts include Something Different Cosplay, Shadow Puppets, Stilt Walker, a new musical preview titled Lysistrata, and Motley Tones.

Community events and workshops including Mini-Commedia Class, Sidewalk Chalk, Karaoke Jam, Artist Alley, Extemporaneous monologue workshop, Mini-Playwriting workshop, Prop Swap, Puppet Jam, Comedy Showcase & Pun Off, JackBox Party Pack, Short Film Festival and Closing Celebration/Party with DJ.
