JamCo Comedy

March 22nd, 2025 at 7:30 PM | TR Studio Theatre

You may think he’s your traditional urban comedian, until he starts talking. Hailing from New York City, Jamal Harrington has 12 years of stand-up comedy experience with an “in your face and peculiar” approach to his craft with some “misdirection” sprinkled in his material.

Whether it’s jokes about racism, relationships, crazy caffeine induced thoughts and ideas, Jamal adds a spin to these topics that gets the crowds’ attention. When Jamal is not gracing the stage, he is writing screenplays, wine drinking and plotting world domination.

Death’s Biography

April 25th – May 4th, 2025 |De Ann S. Jones Theatre

Presented by Alison Davis

Abaddon, an angel, sought out a purpose of her own.  God dismissed her so when it came time to choose a side in the battle, she went against him and fell from Grace.  She now has nothing and since God will not allow her back into Heaven, she takes the only thing he gives her- the paltry job escorting souls to the River Styx and title that comes with the job becomes her identity, Death.  She wants more, always has; she prays for direction but there is nothing.  She is tired of aimlessly drifting around and waiting for any kind of an answer.   One of the souls she has to walk over is Silas.  He has taken his life and is waiting for Death (Abaddon).  She makes a judgement call that ruins his plan of who is supposed to find his body and forces him into one last conversation. She makes another judgement call out of wanting to protect Sarah, a woman from a town Death has taken to, in which she robs Sarah of what would
have been a cherished memory. Play by Alison Davis.
