TR In Concert: Carmen Cusack

Carmen Cusack returns to Theatre Raleigh after starring as Annie in last season’s Bull Durham, A New Musical!

Carmen starred on Broadway in James Lapine’s Flying Over Sunset, earning a second Tony Award nomination in as many Broadway shows. She was previously nominated for her acclaimed lead performance as Alice in Bright Star. 

She can currently be seen as Mary Todd Lincoln in the world premiere musical, 3 Summers of Lincoln, at La Jolla Playhouse.

TR In Concert: Ali Stroker

Ali Stroker is a Tony Award winner for her role as ‘Ado Annie’ in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! She made history as the first actor in a wheelchair to appear on Broadway in Deaf West’s acclaimed revival of Spring Awakening and the first actor in a wheelchair to win a Tony. She recurred in the final season of Netflix’s Ozark and in Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building.

Ali’s mission to improve the lives of others through the arts is captured in her motto: “Turning Your Limitations Into Your Opportunities.”

TR In Concert: Drew Gehling

Currently starring as William Shakespeare in the Broadway production of & Juliet, Drew Gehling originated the role of Dr. Pomatter on Broadway in Waitress after helping develop the piece at the American Repertory Theatre in Cambridge, MA during the summer of 2015.

Drew has spent his entire professional life developing new works, continuing at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego with the musical of Cameron Crowe’s hit film Almost Famous where he received a Craig Noel Nomination for his work, later opening the musical on Broadway in the fall of 2022.

 He can be seen in HBO’s Succession, 30 Rock ,Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Smash, A Good Person with Florence Pugh and Morgan Freeman, and more.

TR In Concert: Eva Noblezada

September 6th, 2025 at 7:30 PM | De Ann S. Jones Theatre

Eva Noblezada won a Grammy and was nominated for a Tony for starring on Broadway as the original Euridice in Hadestown. It was Eva’s second Tony nomination in her first two Broadway roles, following her earlier nod in the title role of Miss Saigon in 2017. She also starred in Hadestown at the National Theatre in London and in the West End revivals of Miss Saigon and Les Misérables. Eva starred as Daisy in the world premiere musical adaptation of The Great Gatsby at Paper Mill Playhouse. 
 

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Eva Noblezada’s TR In Concert performance, originally scheduled for March 8th, 2025, has been rescheduled to September 6th, 2025.

All tickets previously purchased will automatically be transferred to this new date.
